Nitro District
★★★★☆ 4.1
Nitro District doesn't pretend to be a simulator. It's arcade racing through neon streets, and it knows exactly what it wants to be. The drift model is forgiving enough for a thumb on a touchscreen but still rewards timing.
Between races you tinker with your garage. Parts matter, but tuning matters more, and I spent longer in the setup screen than I expected. The tracks loop a little after a while, but the handling keeps you coming back.
Tilt or touch controls both work; I settled on touch and never looked back.
What we liked
- Forgiving, satisfying drift handling
- Deep garage tuning
- Works well on small screens
